Join us for this exciting new way to learn bike mechanics! We will be going on a group ride from the WRENCH shop to The Forks and back again, stopping at roadside checkpoints to simulate real-world bike breakdowns. Participants will get practical, hands-on experience repairing bikes. This workshop is for confident commuters looking to level up their mechanical ability.
Topics covered will include on-the-fly dealing with flats, broken spokes, chain issues, and more.
We will be departing from the WRENCH (1057 Logan Avenue) at 9:00am, breaking at 12:00pm at the Forks, recommencing at 1:00pm and returning to the WRENCH at 4:00pm.
The ride will be approx. 12km round trip.
You will need: a bike, a helmet, water, lunch (can be purchased @ The Forks)
We will provide: safety vest, tools, parts.
